Session at the European Evaluation Society (EES)

At European Evaluation Society (EES) Conference, the AVANTI team held a joint session with colleagues from the PRiME initiative, a programme that aims to strengthen M&E as a tool to foster greater development impact in the rural sector.
In this interactive session, we introduced team members of both AVANTI and PRiME, provided an overview of how the initiatives work to improve M&E capacities of national governments and how they work within IFAD’s Development Effectiveness Framework. Participants had an opportunity to discuss, ask questions and comment on both programmes with our panellists, provided insights from their own work in evaluation, and got an understanding of what both AVANTI and PRiME are aiming to achieve.
